Activities

Bike Riding
Bike riding and mountain biking is a fun activity that allows students to see and experience more whilst on their school camp. The core aims of this activity are to develop new skills, work as a team, learn about road and bike safety, increase awareness of local environments, explore, and discover. Most importantly to have fun!

Camping Option
An optional addition to your program, may be to include a fun camping activity at our Melbourne Bushcamp, just 45 minutes East, from Melbourne's CBD. A controlled and risk moderated experience, with all equipment provided, full facilities and indoor shelters as secondary sleeping areas.

Cooking
Cooking is a great new skill that compliments the development of the students whilst on their camp program. Utilising our team roles and our leadership program, cooking is a great activity for students to learn food safety and hygiene practices, as well as different equipment used for cooking.

Kayaking
Kayaking is an optional add on to your program. The aims of our kayaking session is to develop introductory water safety skills, basic kayaking skills in flat water, team building, communication, team work, cooperation, problem solving and developing an understanding of water environments. Great fun!
Aims: This is a journey of discovery as students undertake a Quest (school camp) through the city discovering the unique attributes of Melbourne over the past 165 years, through the daily challenges and adventures of putting their submission together.
Melbournes’s Quest program or journey is tailored to the specific needs of the school and the students that participate, developing life skills.
Location: A 2-10 day journey experiencing the spectacular natural, architectural, historical and other unique attributes of Melbourne, where history, mystery and excitement awaits. The surrounding beautiful State Parks & Dandenong Ranges National Parks as well as the Quest Skills for Life Bushcamp in Officer, can all be utilised to achieve the aims and objectives of this unique outdoor experiential learning program. That is also great fun.
